2021 W Series
The 2021 W Series is a planned motor racing championship that is scheduled to be the second W Series season, after the 2020 season was abandoned because of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] The championship will be exclusively open to female racing drivers as a Formula 3-level racing series.[2]

Driver selection
After an application and qualifying program ran in September 2019, 18 drivers were supposed to take part in the 2020 season.[3] All of these drivers will also be racing in the 2021 season, with the possibility of more being announced at a later date.[4]

Calendar
The series management announced on 12 November 2020 that the season would consist of eight rounds all held in support of the 2021 Formula One World Championship.[5] A provisional calendar was then revealed on 8 December 2020.[6]
