All the songs on A Fool's Paradise were written by Bill Hughes with the exception of "Oklahoma Boy" written by Carl Keesee.[2]

Ladyfriends I (Sing A Song To Your Lady) was written by Bill Hughes.[3] The song was recorded for Lazarus' 1973 album "A Fool's Paradise", and released as a single.
Lady Friends I (Sing A Song To Your Lady) is included in the Bearsville Bear Pack No 1 compilation Vinyl LP released in the UK in 1977.
