Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari
Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari is a Qatari politician who has served as Minister of Commerce and Industry since November 2018.[1]

Education
Al Kuwari holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science[2] from Eastern Washington University[3] and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the Seattle Pacific University.[2]
He also completed executive programmes at Wharton School of Business, London Business School, Cambridge University and Duke University.[2]
Career
In 1988, Al Kuwari joined Qatar National Bank. He served as Executive General Manager and Group Chief Business Officer of QNB.[4][5] On 9 July 2013, Al Kuwari became the CEO of QNB Group.[6]
Al Kuwari chairs the MasterCard Middle East and North Africa Advisory Board.[7] He is also chairman of QNB Capital and of QNB Privée Suisse in Switzerland as well as vice chairman of Qatar Exchange.[7]
