Plot
Sergeant John Rook (Mark Addy) is an overweight, out-of-shape police officer. When his commanding officer receives a complaint from a bishop about an incident between Rook and a member of the public, he gives Rook a choice of forced retirement or disciplinary action. Rook chooses discipline, and is assigned to the bike squad.
