James Shinner
James Herbert Shinner (9 September 1877 – 10 November 1921), sometimes known as Bert Shinner, was an English professional football centre forward and full back who played in the Football League for Doncaster Rovers and Bradford City.[1]

Personal life
Shinner served in the Royal Navy and laid mines during the First World War.[2] He worked as a poultry farmer in the last years of his life.[2]
