This is a list of the metropolitan areas in Brazil. It contains the metropolitan regions (Portuguese: Regiões Metropolitanas), integrated development areas (Regiões Integradas de Desenvolvimento) and urban agglomerations (Aglomerações Urbanas) with more than one million inhabitants in Brazil according to the 2017 estimates published by IBGE.
