Career
Yao began his career Académie de Sol Beni and was promoted in 2006 to ASEC Mimosas. He made two appearances in the CAF Champions League 2009.[1] After three years on seniorside for ASEC Mimosas left in January 2010 his club to sign for Jeunesse Sportive Bassam.
On 2 June 2018, Al-Adalh has signed Ivorian midfielder Martial Yao for on seasons by buying the player's card from AS Gabès represent Al-Adalh from the new season of the Prince Mohammad bin Salman League .[2] On 2 June, Yao was appointed by the Al-Adalh.
International career
He played at the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship[3] and was compared to Claude Makélélé for his tireless midfield performances.[4]
