Oostwoud
Oostwoud is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Medemblik, and lies about 8 km north of Hoorn.

In 2001, the town centre of Oostwoud had 381 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.08 km², and contained 138 residences.[1] The statistical district "Oostwoud" also includes the outlying parts of the village and the hamlets Broerdijk and Veldhuis, and has a population of around 930.[2]
