Parsonsia heterophylla, commonly called New Zealand jasmine or kaihua, is a climbing plant endemic to New Zealand.

It is found in wet lowland forest and its seeds are dispersed by the wind.[1]
The larvae of the moth Stigmella kaimanua feed on the leaves of P. heterophylla.[2]
