Yakami Castle
Yakami Castle (八上城, Yakami-jō) was a castle structure in Tamba-Sasayama, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. It was the original base of power for the Hatano clan.[1] Akechi Mitsuhide's mother entered the castle as a hostage but later she was executed by Hatano's army in 1579.[2][3]
