Újezd u Brna (Czech pronunciation: [ˈuːjɛst ˈubr̩na], German: Aujest) is a town in Brno-Country District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,400 inhabitants.

History
The earliest mention of this town is in a church charter dating from 1131, making it one of the oldest towns in the historic land of Moravia. Újezd has seen considerable conflict in its history; the start of the Battle of Austerlitz (Battle of the Three Emperors) on 2 December 1805 was signaled by cannon fire from the Chapel of St. Anthony of Padua.
