Central Halmahera Regency
Central Halmahera Regency (Indonesian: Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah) is a regency (on Halmahera Island) in North Maluku Province, Indonesia. At the 2010 Census it had a population of 42,815; the latest official estimate (as at 2017) is 50,164.[2] The capital lies at Weda.

Administration
The regency was divided at 2010 into eight districts (kecamatan), tabulated below with their 2010 Census population. Subsequently two further kecamatan have been created - Weda Timur and Patani Timur.
