The song was performed fourteenth on the night, following France's Dan Ar Braz & L'Héritage des Celtes with "Diwanit Bugale" and preceding Netherlands's Maxine & Franklin Brown with "De eerste keer". At the close of voting, it had received 19 points, placing twenty-first in a field of twenty three.
It was succeeded as Slovene representative at the 1997 contest by Tanja Ribič with "Zbudi se".
