Ehren Kruger
Ehren Kruger (born October 5, 1972)[1] is an American screenwriter and film producer. He is best known for writing three of the five installments in the Transformers film series: Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, and Age of Extinction.[2]

Life and career
Kruger was raised in Alexandria, Virginia, and attended the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, graduating in 1990.[3] He graduated from New York University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.[4]
His produced screenplays include Arlington Road, Scream 3 and Reindeer Games.[5] He was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for Best Screenplay for The Ring.[6]
He also did uncredited rewrites to Scream 4, when Kevin Williamson had to leave production.[7][8]
Early on in his career after penning the screenplay Arlington Road, he received the Nicholl Fellowship from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1996.[9] Kruger wrote the script of the television series adaption of Terry Gilliam's film The Brothers Grimm.[10]
