Laish, Uzbekistan
Laish (Uzbek: Loyish/Лойиш, Russian: Лаиш) is an urban-type settlement in Samarqand Region, Uzbekistan. It is the capital of Oqdarya District. The town population in 1989 year was 9776 people.[1]
