Nová Říše
Nová Říše (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnovaː ˈr̝iːʃɛ]); German: Neureisch) is a market town in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 800 inhabitants.

Nová Říše lies approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Jihlava and 134 km (83 mi) south-east of Prague.
Sights
There is an old Norbertine monastery in Nová Říše. Five members of the community were gassed to death by the Nazis in 1942.[2] Surviving monks were sentenced to prison and labour camps by the Communists in 1950. The buildings were given back to the Order after the fall of Communism in 1991.[3]
