Orson, Iowa
Orson is an unincorporated community in Harrison County, in the U.S. state of Iowa.[1]

History
Orson was laid out in 1899 when the railroad was extended to that point.[2] The community was named for Orson Pratt, a Mormon leader.[2] A post office was established at Orson in 1900, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1957.[3][4]
