Confederate Farmers Party
The Confederate Farmers Party (Burmese: မဟာမိတ်တောင်သူလယ်သမားပါတီ; CFP) is a registered political party in Myanmar (Burma).[2][1] The party was founded 2 July 2015 by a group of farmers in the Bago Region, and is funded mainly through its supporters. The party's main goal is to lift the socio-economic pressure placed on farmers by the Burmese government, and the party has said that it will work with any other organisation or political party that shares its goals and/or values.[1]
